Ted Macdonald is a Military Motion Media student at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and is a Staff Sgt. in the Marines.


In May 2008, Staff Sergeant Macdonald was assigned to The Pentagon Channel in Alexandria, Virginia where he became the channel's lead anchor.  During his time at the channel, Staff Sergeant Macdonald interviewed military luminaries such as General David Petraeus, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Michael Mullen.


Following completion of the Military Motion Media Program, Staff

Sergeant Macdonald will be assigned as an instructor at the Defense

Information School, Ft. Meade, MD.
