Stefanie L. Antosh | 2011 Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class, U.S. Navy

Stefanie Antosh is a Military Motion Media student at the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications located at Syracuse University and is a Mass Communications Specialist 2nd Class in the Navy.

Antosh was born in San Diego, California on April 12, 1982, to dual-military parents and moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia, at age 12. In June 2002, after completing two years of community college, Antosh enlisted in the United States Navy as a Photographer’s Mate.

Her first command was Pre-Commissioning Unit Ronald Reagan (PCU 76) and was part of the original commissioning crew and member of the

Photo Lab crew of the aircraft carrier in Norfolk, Virginia. After riding the ship to its homeport in San Diego, Antosh was assigned at Fleet Imaging Command Pacific. After one year in San Diego she was assigned as the Photo Lab ALPO onboard USS Frank Cable (AS-40), a sub-marine tender in Agana, Guam. Two years later she went to work for NATO at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers, Europe (SHAPE), Mons, Belgium, as the Chief, Internal Communications office.

Upon completion of this course Antosh will head to Fleet Combat Camera Group Pacific, San Diego.

Antosh has a chocolate lab, named Tao Tao, a rescue adopted in Guam. She loves sports to include snowboarding, softball, swimming, kayaking, surfing and mountain biking.
