Sean Harp

Sean Harp is a Military Photojournalism student at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and is a Sergeant in the Army.

Sgt Harp is a combat documentation production specialist enlisted in the United States Army. His military career began in 2003 as a network switching systems operator and maintainer. His first assignment stationed him at Fort Bragg, NC. He was assigned to U.S. Army Special Operations Command's 112th Signal Battalion. He deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom two times in 2006.

In 2007, Harp attended the Defense Information School at Fort Meade, Md. He graduated in May 2008 and began his new military career as a combat documentation and production specialist after being assigned to the 55th Signal Company (Combat Camera). While assigned to the 55th, he has documented U.S. Southern Command forces' humanitarian aid operations in Guyana, Hurricane Ike relief in Texas, and U.S. Special Operations Command forces deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

His hometown is Winter Haven, FL. 

Harp is a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie who seeks to squeeze every drop of fun and adventure out of life, while being self aware of his environmental footprint.

His interests include; photography, skydiving, urban exploration, random road tripping, and living a clean and green lifestyle.
