Kaily Brown | 2010 Army


Kaily Brown is a Military Photojournalism student at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Brown is from Salt Lake City, Utah. She joined the Army shortly after graduation from high school in 2003. She has been stationed at Fort Irwin, California and Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii prior to her assignment to Syracuse University.

While stationed at the National Training Center in California, Brown produced quality video products for the observer/controller teams responsible for the training of thousands of service members for combat operations overseas.

During her assignment at the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command in Hawaii, Brown deployed to Laos, Vietnam, France, Papua New Guinea, and Palau. She was part of a joint effort team recovering remains from missing Americans lost in our nation’s past conflicts. 

Brown loves spending time with her family when she can. She enjoys many outdoor activities and sports including camping, surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, golf, softball, and anything that will get her out into the sun. 

Upon graduation Brown will be assigned to the 55th Combat Camera Unit, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.
