Jason Fudge | 2010 Marines


Jason W. Fudge is a military motion media student at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. 

He joined the Marine Corps in April 2003.  After completion of boot camp and Marine Combat Training, he attended the Basic Still Photography course at the Defense Information School, where he graduated with honors.  In January 2005, he returned to DINFOS to attend the Video Production and Documentation course and again graduated with honors.  In March of 2007 he returned to DINFOS for a third time for the Intermediate Photojournalism Course. 

Jason spent his first enlistment as a photographer and videographer at the Combat Visual Information Center at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va.  In February 2007, he reported in to the 1st Marine Logistics Group Combat Camera.  In January 2008 he deployed to Iraq for 13 months. 

Jason’s awards include two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, the Army Achievement Medal, 1st Place and honorable mentions in the Visual Information Awards Program, and multiple Marine Corps Combat Correspondent Merit Awards.
