Derek Masuda | 2010 Army


Derek Masuda is a Military Motion Media student at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Masuda is an airborne qualified combat documentation and production specialist for the U.S. Army.  In 2007 Masuda deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  His previous duty stations include Fort Meade, MD. and Fort Bragg, NC.  Masuda’s interests include film, literature, snowboarding, and hiking. He is from Fremont, California.
